How close is Crystal Palace to Romexpo?

The hotel is at 18-20 Capt. Aviator Alexandru Șerbănescu Street, Sector 1, next to Aurel Vlaicu metro station (line M2). Romexpo is at 65-67 Mărăști Boulevard, on the edge of Herăstrău Park.

How to get from the hotel to Romexpo

By car

You exit Crystal Palace onto Aviator Șerbănescu, turn onto Aurel Vlaicu, then take Calea Floreasca and Mărăști Boulevard. It is 5 km of straightforward driving, no loops.

Romexpo has several on-site parking lots, including the main one at entrance A. On fair days we recommend leaving the hotel at least 30 minutes before your appointment — for events like BIFE-SIM, Indagra or TIB, traffic on Mărăști Boulevard gets heavy between 9:00 and 10:30 AM.

By taxi, Uber or Bolt

A ride between Crystal Palace and Romexpo costs around 20–30 RON (4–6 EUR), depending on time of day and app. It is the easiest option if you have a physical booth and do not want to deal with parking.

The reception can call a taxi directly, no app needed, for guests who prefer it.

By public transport

From Aurel Vlaicu metro station (5 minutes on foot from the hotel) you take M2 to Piața Victoriei, change to M1 toward Basarab, and get off at Grivița. Romexpo is a 10-minute walk from there. Total time is 25–35 minutes with the line change.

Buses 205 and 783 also pass through the area and stop near Romexpo, but travel time is similar and depends heavily on traffic.

Hotel transfer

After a full day on the fair floor, the last thing you want is to get back in the car. Promenada Mall is 650 m from the hotel and has both a food court and proper restaurants for dinner — Saigon, Trattoria Buongiorno, La Mama, plus quick options.

Băneasa Shopping is a 10-minute drive away if you want a quieter dinner. Herăstrău Park is 3 minutes by car and open until late evening — a good place to walk off a fair day.
