For families arriving from another part of the country, a nearby hotel means one base. You stay in the same place for as long as the hospital stay lasts, and you come and go without improvised lodging, so you can be there when it counts.

For day-case procedures, where you go home the same day or the next, it helps to have somewhere to rest before the trip back. A quiet bed a few steps from the hospital doesn’t fix everything, but it takes one worry off your shoulders.

Families of admitted patients. Stay nearby for the length of the hospital stay, without moving from place to place.

Patients with complex consultations or a second opinion. When you have several appointments on different days, a fixed base in the area keeps the logistics simple.

International guests (medical tourism). For procedures at the clinics in the north, the hotel is a comfortable base, with English at reception and close to the airport.

Patients in outpatient recovery. Rest for a few hours or a night after a procedure before heading home.

Getting to the hospital — transport options

By car, plus the hotel parking. Park with us for free and drive to the hospital. For Medicover Floreasca, it’s a matter of minutes.

Uber, Bolt or taxi. To the nearby hospitals, a ride is generally inexpensive (roughly 10–25 RON, depending on time and traffic).

On foot. Realistic only for Medicover Floreasca, a few minutes away. For the rest, a car or taxi is easier.

By metro. Aurel Vlaicu station (M2) is close and useful if your appointment is in another part of the city.

Services that can make hospital days easier

Extended stays (7–30 nights). For longer recoveries we can offer a rate for an extended stay; ask us directly and we’ll adapt it.

Late check-out. On discharge day, the hospital often runs late. A later check-out takes one worry away.

Companion room. Twin or double rooms, so the patient and family can stay together.

Airport transfer. For guests arriving from abroad, we can arrange the transfer from Otopeni.

Room service. If you can’t come down to the restaurant after a procedure, your meal comes to the room.

A few tips if you’re coming from another city

Book your room for the night before the appointment. For early-morning procedures, it’s calmer to sleep in the city and wake up near the hospital than to drive for hours at dawn.

Tell us at booking if you’d like a quieter room, away from the street, so you can rest well the night before.

Check the cancellation policy. Medical appointments are often rescheduled, so a booking with flexible cancellation saves you a loss if the date moves.

Look after your medical documents. Reception is open around the clock and has a safe, useful for papers and valuables while you’re at the hospital.

For guests coming from abroad

More international patients are choosing clinics in North Bucharest for dental, ophthalmology or aesthetic procedures. Many of these clinics sit a few kilometers apart, so you can handle consultations and procedures from several places without crossing the whole city.
